Red Wings - Rain - Mud - Cannonball
We are in the middle of a landscaping project in our backyard and a cannonball was unearthed. Soon to be a doorstop. Not sure how to date it or if it's indeed a cannonball but the circumference and weight seems right.

That is so fabulous! My parents used to find all sorts of weird stuff in our backyard growing up...the previous owners seemed to just bury random stuff from the 40s on a whim. It was a bit like a treasure hunt sometimes...
