1911 ~ 1990

Today, April 9th, 2010 marks 20 years since the passing of our Grandfather, "Pops." You may be gone but your memory and everything you stood for remains. Those summer vacations to visit you and Gran were some of the best memories a kid could possibly have. You were tops in our book and miss you dearly.

Always a sharp dresser

On the front steps to our house in Memphis, TN. Nice patriotic Keds.

This man loved his bolo-ties

Now that's one happy grandson

Pops and Chris circa 1987 - Clinton, TN

Pops and Chris out on a ride - Clinton, TN

Pops and Kirk. He also loved his cab-driver caps

It was pure happiness when we were with Pops and Gran

Gran, Uncle Buford, Pops and our Father, Tom - Clinton, TN 60's

Pops with his pipe scaling some fish. He is wearing a WWII shirt from his brother, Buford Shields Bray. Our father looks on in the white shorts with suspenders.

The N.T. Bray Sr. family from the 50's - Clinton, TN

It is nearly impossible for me to memorialize one of the best men to walk this earth but these photos should give you a little glimpse at what our family had the pleasure and honor of being around for quite a few years.

"Well that's good, that's real good."
A favorite saying of his when one of his grandchildren did something he liked

That's good. That's REAL good!
Pops was one of a kind. Glad I got to meet him.
Let's not forget about Gran. Equally cool.
