“What you still need to know is this: Before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams, master the lessons we’ve learned as we move toward that dream. That’s the point at which most people give up. It’s the point at which, as we say in the language of the desert, one dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon. Every search begins with beginner’s luck and every search ends with the victor being severely tested."

"You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle."

- Paulo Coelho, from his best-selling book The Alchemist

I enjoyed this book very much and these quotes both speak volumes about each and every one of our 'Personal Legends.' We must all remember it's not just reaching our goals, no matter what they happen to be, but also what actions we used to attain them.

There is a modern misnomer that it is but the end result that matters. I found you by sheer serendipity today via Geninne's Art Blog and her FB post. I watched the Vimeo of you and your brother. Lovely work. Even lovelier minds and souls. A bit of your souls go into your work and it is that passion for life and how it is lived that is a true inspiration.
