If you find yourself near Philadelphia, PA you must visit the shop, Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. Located in an historic brick building in the Old Town neighborhood, Art in the Age is part artist collective, part performance space and part curiosity shop. Their very well edited collection is packed with interesting finds. Great concept, great content and helmed by some very capable people.
They also have a terrific blog and were nice enough to do an interview with Billykirk HERE and profiled Kirk and his paintings awhile back HERE.
Something else you should put on your calendars is the upcoming Root Cocktail Competition at the Silk City Garden Bar on July 28th from 7-9PM.
