Bruce Springsteen Turns 60
Badlands, a 2000 tribute album featuring only songs from Nebraska, is a must as well. The whole compilation is really well done. The songs by Crooked Fingers, Ben Harper, Son Volt, Dar Williams and Chrissie Hynde/Adam Seymour are incredible.

Plus he had the cojones to release Nebraska on the heels of his big commercial breakthrough, The River. The record execs at Columbia must've loved that. (Although then he threw 'em a bone with Born in the U.S.A..)
nebraska is a must own. great stuff.
